Charlotte’s Kristin Prentice of Cetera Investors Honored for Charitable Work with Promising Pages
CHARLOTTE, NC – July 11th, 2022 – Kristin Prentice, Financial Advisor and Assistant Vice President at Cetera Investors in Charlotte, received Honorable Mention in the 16th Annual Invest in Others Awards for her philanthropic contributions to Promising Pages, Inc.
The Invest in Others Awards recognizes the charitable work of financial advisors in communities across the country and around the world.
Kristin spent 7 years on the board of Promising Pages, as Treasurer, Co-Chair, and an At-Large Board Member, finishing her tenure on the board in January of 2022. In her time with Promising Pages, she created the building blocks of their financials early in the organizations history, was a steward through the transition from the founder to the current Executive Director, and helped to develop clarity in the organization's mission and vision..
The Invest in Others Awards will be presented on September 29th in Boston in the following categories: Catalyst, Community Service, Emerging Impact, Lifetime Achievement & Volunteer of the Year.

Promising Pages is a nonprofit organization that collects new and donated books and shares them with children living the the Charlotte Area Book Desert: those with few, if any books at home. Our mission is to provide ownership of books to underserved children and cultivate a lifelong love of reading through innovative literacy programs and partnerships. We partner with more than 150 schools and other child-serving organizations to provide access to books and to help students build home libraries.
Promising Pages envisions a world where all children have home libraries of self-selected books, can see themselves reflected in the books they read, and have made reading a joyful habit for a lifetime.
